Dutchland’s Technology Makes It the RNG Digester Tank Leader
Dutchland has designed and constructed over 1000+ structures which are still operating for gas/electricity production, and liquid treatment. Dutchland LLC has installed wastewater package treatment plants, precast post-tensioned concrete wastewater treatment systems, anaerobic digesters for RNG and CHP, and water storage tanks.
Its proven design, manufacturing, and construction of precast post tensioned concrete tanks make for faster on-schedule deployment, quicker ROI, and provides a minimum 50-year design life.
Dutchland offers design services up front and helps throughout the entire process. Dutchland can approach a project with a custom design build mindset or find standardized solutions for an individual client to reduce Capex.
For more than 40 years, Dutchland has been designing, manufacturing, and building circular, rectangular, elliptical, and custom-designed tanks. Rain or shine Dutchland can produce products in our weather-controlled environments while we are pouring the base slab or foundation in the field, cutting down onsite schedule time drastically. All materials used at Dutchland are US made, domestic and positioned well to work with the ITC and IRA Bill requirements. While RNG is attracting interest nationwide, the process for producing RNG is not new. “It’s the same technology that Dutchland built in the 1990s, with some European innovation and domestic engagement, but anaerobic digesters have been used for a very long time. We have seen the schedule and labor constraints in the market and see pre-cast post tensioned tanks becoming a favored solution for owner and project developers moving forward” according to Micah Boyer, Dutchland’s Head of RNG Project Sales.
Like numerous companies in the RNG space, which start out concentrating their efforts on dairy farms manure to make renewable gas, Dutchland now is getting more involved in food waste-to-RNG projects, with projects utilizing poultry and swine waste soon to come.
“There are several urban diversion laws in place or pending with more surely to come which mandate food waste must be drastically, if not totally, eliminated from being deposited in landfills. Dutchland has built several projects in Maryland within the last couple years, benefiting from the Maryland urban diversion mandate.” according to Boyer.
The value of Dutchland is well known to more than its personnel and customers. Last December, Kentucky-based private equity firm MiddleGround Capital acquired Dutchland, and it became a part to Lindsay Precast Renewables.
National precast and design leader; Lindsay, designs and manufactures, engineered precast concrete structures for water/wastewater, utility, solar, EV charging, transportation, and government end use markets.
Lindsay and Dutchland operate nine manufacturing facilities nationwide, which helps Dutchland by cutting transportation costs and allowing Dutchland to pursue additional customers throughout the USA. This growth gives Dutchland a national presence with 10+Million square feet of production and storage capacity at Dutchland’s production locations.
